the video essay 10 Trenches (2009) was a site-based art project by scientistTim and artist Michael Cohen at Bundanon which explored the effects of sea-level rise through deep trenches in collaboration with other scientists and artists. It was part of Bundanon's Siteworks program, which focuses on the intersection of art, science, and the environment. The project involved two teams of collaborators who used deep trenches and other techniques to gather data and insights into the local environment.
RT106 (2012) essay followed one of the steers on the Bundanon Foundation property to a regional slaughterhouse in preparation for a Siteworks event, Future Food Feast,a day of discussions and activities around the central theme of sustainable eating and the future of food.during which time the steers’ meat is prepared by a celebrated chef and consumed by attendees at the related symposium.Commissioned by Local Land Services (formerly the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority)
