Red plus Green plus Blue, the sixth part (of Sheepman and the Sheared series of films), deals with the issue of colour. Colours are here abstracted as a series of circle images as looped16mm film following an analogue generative system of three loops with calculated intervals. The abstractions come from the colours needed in the film emulsion to print the Blue sky, the Green grass and Red berries. creating complimentary colours in the overlaps of exposure.

The HD scan of the film introduced another dynamic element and was first exhibited as an installation at the Mosman Gallery, Sydney, NSW.
This project was initiated at the London Filmmakers’ Co-operative Workshop (1976).
